Rogers Communications and Starlink have launched “Rogers Satellite,” a full satellite-to-mobile service in Canada. As of December 2025, users in remote or coverage-dead zones can connect with their regular smartphones to access data, voice, video, and popular apps — including WhatsApp, Google Maps, and more. The service dramatically expands Canada’s wireless coverage and enables connectivity in wilderness, coastal, rural and remote areas where cell towers don’t reach.
