John Deere’s JDLink Boost solution — powered by Starlink precision agriculture connectivity — delivers satellite-enabled broadband to farming equipment in rural and remote areas across multiple countries. By integrating Starlink’s network with John Deere’s precision agriculture technologies, farmers can access real-time data sharing, remote diagnostics, automation tools, and advanced agronomic applications, overcoming the limitations of cellular connectivity. On January 18, 2026, Falcon 9 launches 29 Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida aboard the Starlink Group 6-100 mission, further expanding SpaceX’s satellite broadband constellation. The rocket’s first stage landed on the droneship A Shortfall of Gravitas, and the deployed satellites will enhance global internet connectivity, including services in remote and underserved regions.

The Lufthansa Group has partnered with Starlink to bring Starlink free in‑flight internet to its entire fleet of around 850 aircraft starting in the second half of 2026, with complete rollout by 2029. The satellite broadband service will offer high‑speed, low‑latency connectivity that passengers can use for streaming, work, and communication, free for status and Travel ID users across all cabin classes, marking a major advancement in global inflight internet.

Brightline has deployed Starlink onboard Wi-Fi across its fleet, significantly reducing onboard Wi-Fi issues by around 50 percent and delivering highly consistent internet speeds above 100 Mbps. This shift from traditional cellular networks to satellite broadband has reduced costs, improved guest satisfaction, and marked a major digital transformation in passenger rail connectivity.

Starlink free in-flight Wi-Fi is now available across about 120 Qatar Airways widebody aircraft, offering passengers ultra-high-speed internet access that often surpasses home broadband performance. The airline has become the first globally to equip Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners with Starlink and completed comprehensive rollouts on Airbus A350 and Boeing 777 fleets. Since October 2024, more than 11 million passengers have used the complimentary service, demonstrating Starlink’s growing impact on global in-flight connectivity.
